Nope. Not the page not found version, but the number of bits to this Meccano set that her Ladyship “lovingly”(tm) got me for Christmas …….. and it’s been the creation of many a new swear word too. (Not to mention shredding nails and fingers).

I’ve finally discovered that it’s easier to hold the nut to the back of the joint and screw the bolt in – rather than the other way round. I’ve also discovered that you need to be someone with very small hands (which I’m not) to get to a lot of the joints.

Other than that, the sun’s been out and I might have ordered that MacBook Air.

My theory about the AWU’s smaller size than the Enduro 3 seems to be paying dividends too – as the readings are more what I would expect, so I’ll stick with that for the time being.

All things being well, the Meccano will be finished tomorrow. I just need to give the Office a blitz in preparation for the new arrival (and because it’s starting to look like Steptoe’s yard).
