OK. That may sound over the top but – finally – after five years of begging from the community, Evernote has just posted an update adding Reminders. Oh yes.

Goodbye Wunderlist. Goodbye 2Do. Goodbye Things.

The only aspect of Productivity and GTD that I have had to use an additional App for (and bear in mind that Things – certainly – wasn’t cheap across iPad, iPhone and OSX) is now embedded in my app of choice.

So, today. Today I’m going to be transferring my heirarchy of GTD from Wunderlist to Evernote. Good thing too, as I was just about to subscribe to the Pro feature too.

Tidying up Finder in Mac OSX Mountain Lion

Just a little bug-bear of mine but, since Mountain Lion, I’ve been slowly unhinged by my icons in Finder being all over the place. I must be getting old.

To get round this ;

Command (right) click in any space in a Finder window.
Select “Show View Options”
Select “None” in “Arrange By:” drop-down to activate the “Sort by:” drop-down. (This _must_ be a bug)
Select “Snap to grid” in the “Sort by:” drop-down.
Select “Name” (or whatever you like) in the “Arrange By:” drop-down.
Select “Use as defaults”

Job done – what a palaver.
